Spring Flowers

I worked in my garden this afternoon.  I am quite enamored with my volunteer Columbine.

I actually have a lot of pretty flowers.

These are new.  I can't remember their names.

While I was working, neighbors stopped to talk.  Everyone is a little hungry for conversation these days.

Tiny Mint Leaves

A houseguest in very early March asked if we could prepare a new recipe with mint, so I bought a plant.  The recipe didn't happen, and over the next few weeks the plant developed some kind of fungus.  I tried to save some cuttings, but that didn't work.  I have not yet returned the pot to the garage, and this week I've been watching these little tiny leaves react to the morning sunlight.

Blossoms on a Cloudy Day

The day is overcast, but enough sun leaked into my kitchen to lighten the blossoms on my counter.

Spring Supermoon

This spring supermoon accompanied me on my walk this morning.  It was super.

Cherry Blossoms in the Dark

I see beautiful things on my morning walks, sometimes even before the sun rises.

Spring Day -- 32 Degrees

I have basil growing inside my house instead of outside.  There's a reason, but it's not important right now.  I love having this plant on my counter, but to be honest, sometimes it smells a little bit like a litter box.  Just an fyi.

I found geraniums yesterday afternoon while on a quest for peanut butter.  (Interesting days we are living in.)

I couldn't wait to get home and plant them.  I managed to collect several new doodads for my geranium garden this winter.

March Snowfall

The entire street is peaceful and quiet, except for birds chirping.  It is spring, after all.
