I was weeding this evening, and all of a sudden, the golden hour showed up!

Focusing on the Starfish

Ben pointed out several of these tiny starfish this morning in our new tank.  I snapped two with my cell phone and was certain I'd get a better photo with my Canon.  I took 30 pictures and none were in focus, so I looked at the two from my camera.  This is the first, the other is just as good.

Spring Flowers

I worked in my garden this afternoon.  I am quite enamored with my volunteer Columbine.

I actually have a lot of pretty flowers.

These are new.  I can't remember their names.

While I was working, neighbors stopped to talk.  Everyone is a little hungry for conversation these days.

Tiny Mint Leaves

A houseguest in very early March asked if we could prepare a new recipe with mint, so I bought a plant.  The recipe didn't happen, and over the next few weeks the plant developed some kind of fungus.  I tried to save some cuttings, but that didn't work.  I have not yet returned the pot to the garage, and this week I've been watching these little tiny leaves react to the morning sunlight.
