Persistent Winter

It's possible I might be disappointed if I look for hummingbirds today.

Spring Shows Her Pretty Face

The birds were at the feeders this morning.

That was not new.  They have been enjoying our thistle all winter.

What was new was the sun was out.

I took these pictures through the window, fearing I'd startle the birds away.

I couldn't resist, and I stepped outside.  The birdies fled, but my zoom allowed me to capture the blossoms on my neighbor's tree.

The birds sat in the tree, hoping I'd go back inside.  So, I did.
